The Tennessee Titans have had an uneventful off season since the end of the June mini-camp, but that changed toady.
Starting left guard Andy Levire will miss at least the first two weeks of training camp, per a source, after undergoing surgery today to remove his appendix.
While this procedure is not a major medical problem, the Titans and new offensive line coach Bob Bostad now must adjust to the loss of Levitre as the team gets set to open training camp this Saturday, July 26.
Levitre, who is beginning his second season with the Titans after signing a free agent deal prior to last season is being counted on to solidify the interior of an offensive line that many consider the strength of the team. Levitre started all 16 games for the team last season.
