Locker Likes Where Offense Is Going

Jake Locker's accuracy has obviously improved, and his surgically repaired foot does not appear to be a problem at all.

If you listen to the national sports talk radio personalities, or read some of the national storied that come out it is easy to see that most of them don't think much of Locker is a very good quarterback.

Earlier today, Mike Florio of NBC's Pro Football Talk took a shot at Locker in the closing line of an article he wrote about comments from Titans safety Michael Griffin following today's practice.

"It to find an answer at quarterback," wrote Florio in the article.

For all his injuries and for all the doubters who believe that Locker can't do it, there are some among us who think that based on the improvements he seems to have made this off season, that just maybe he can!"

Watching Locker in the early days of this camp it is clear that he has improved his passing accuracy. His passes are crisp and clean and more often than not they look to be within the catch radius of his receivers.

While there are still questions to be answered by Locker about his abilities, one thins has been apparent so far, his accuracy has improved dramtically.

"Working stressing it," said Locker. "Coach Whiz since he has been here has really put an emphasis on that, not just completing passes but allowing the receivers to run after the ball, or run after the catch and by maybe throwing balls to a spot and giving guys the chance to run out and make catches.

"I'm just trying to advance in that area," continued Locker. "They challenged me there and I'm thankful for it. Recommended Stories
