Scott(6-1, 219) joins the team after spending last season with New Orleans where he played sparingly last season. Before New Orleans he played three years with the Falcons, who drafted him in the second round out Penn State. While playing in the league he has totaled 213 tackles with 183 solo and 3.5 sacks with 38 starts.
It is expected that he will compete with LaMont Thompson for the starting spot at free safety and alongside Chris Hope. Scott's career had appeared to plummet last season in New Orleans, but with this new team he might have a new lease on his career.
