Titans Sign Herndon

Titans GM Mike Reinfeldt added former Seahawk CB kelly Herndon to the roster on monday. After being released from the Seattle on June 1, the cornerback made his way to Nashville.

When asked about Herndon Reinfeldt stated "Kelly is an experienced starter who can play outside or inside on the slot and will upgrade the competition in our secondary." He went about his time in Seattle "I am very familiar with him – he is such a great competitor - and when he became available we knew he was worth pursuing."

Herndon is entering his 6th year in the league after spending the last two in Seattle after playing three seasons with the Broncos. Over his career he has posted 49 statrts including all 16 of last year's regular season games in Seattle.

The further addition to the secondary should add some more experienced depth at cornerback after the loss of Adam "Pacman" Jones. Herndon will compete for playing time with recent signing Nick Harper and last year starter Reynaldo Hill.
