Titans Sign Davis & Ford

Chris Davis

Nashville, TN.---The Tennessee Titans agreed to terms with two more of their 2007 draft class Tuesday bring the total number signed to five of the ten selections in this years draft.

The Titans fourth round pick Wide Receiver Chris Davis joins the Titans after starting 22 games for Florida State. During his career for the Seminoles he totaled 137 catches for 1,842 yards and 12 touchdowns. Davis has the skills to compete as a kick or punt returner for the Titans, a spot left open after the suspension of Pacman Jones.

Defensive End Jacob Ford also joined the Titans on Tuesday. Ford was selected in the sixth round of the draft and should add some depth for a speed rusher for the defensive end position. He totaled 17 sacks and 32.5 tackles for loss in 24 games at Central Arkansas. He started his career at Memphis in 2001 before working full-time two years away from football.
