The report revealed that Fisher announced the trade during his weekly show on a local sports talk radio station, KJR-AM.
Fisher is a 7th year NFL player who played his college ball at the Air Force Academy. The 6-foot-3, 265 pound lineman started all 16 games for the Seahawks during the 2006 season. He had 46 tackles, 4 sacks and a fumble recovery. He also had 8 quarterback hurries.
Later in the day the Titans announced that they had acquired Fisher from the Seahawks for an undisclosed draft pick in a trade.
Titans head coach Jeff Fisher commented that, “This is a good addition to our team in a number of ways,” Fisher continued “He has been a productive and durable player through the years and a player that we have had interest in for a number of years. I look forward to adding him to our defensive line mix.”
