Haynesworth Stays Home

Albert Haynesworth has decided to forego minicamp this week while he works out on his own.

Minicamp starts today for the Titans and they will be with out their best defensive player Albert Hayensworth. The Titans will hold minicamp today and tomorrow at Baptist Sports Park without Haynesworth while he works out on his own.

The Titans labeled Haynesworth as their franchise player in February to stop him from getting on the market as an unrestricted free agent. The Titans must reach a long-term contract deal with Haynesworth by July 15. If the Titans are unable to come to terms, they can only sign him to a one-year deal worth $7.8 million.

Haynesworth was quoted last month that his negotiations with the team were going very slow.
