Titans Release Herndon

The Tennessee Titans released CB Kelly Herndon on Friday.

After signing with the Titans last year where he only played in three games he was released today. Herndon a seven year veteran of the NFL where he has played for his first three years with the Broncos and the next three with the Seahawks.

herndon never was able to solidify himself in the secondary and was only primarily used on special teams. He seemed to gotten lost in the in the secondary last season,where he stayed behind starters Cortland Finnegan and Nick Harper, and back-up Reynaldo Hill.
